What Rolex owners think of Panerai?

Have a Rolex & 2 PAM (287 & 92).

Like Rolex for it's movement, brand appeal and ability to hold value. Hate the 40mm face...too small.

Like PAM for the classic look and the bigger face. Hate the movement & resale value...

If only there are more 44mm Rolex....

love my panerais... the average holding period of my panerai easily exceed any of my rolexes

Went to Europe last year and was about to pull the plug and get the Sub.. An AD there gave me 10% discount before VAT... I think his also wanting to clear stock..

Was at Florence at that time so decided to just make my way to Panerai since it's where it came from...

Final decision: I happily left Europe with a Pam on my wrist... Went there with strong intentions to get a Rolex but left with a Pam ... It boils down to one's preference ... Still very happy with my PAM...
