Well, Rolex is a premium watch brand to begin with, so it's never cheap esp so in Asia. If you are looking to buy 1st hand/brand new models such as Air-King or Oyster Perpetual (no date) can be considered if you have some budget. If not, most 2nd watch shops can offer gd deals depending on the models you are after?

      Rolex owner since 2010
      Previously owned:
Explorer II(216570) black dial AN serial
      GMT-Master II(116710LN) AN serial
      Current collection:
      Datejust 36(116234) V serial
      GMT-Master II(116713LN) AN serial
      Upcoming/Wishlist:
      "Hulk" green sub(116610LV)

i am not sure if 'most' 2nd watch shops offer good deals, because seems to me good deals at preown shops is often hard to come by

Good deals at sg-roc are more often than the 2nd hand watch shops

How to deal from a seller from ROC and ensure that you are buying the real rolex and not an imitation.

            TIA.

Meet the seller at RSC and send the watch for authentication, pay only after you have been told it's real. But usually buyer pay for the authentication... Cheers

If the OP refers to new Rolexes, then the choice is between SS Datejust, Sub c No Date, and Explorer I. I have seen all 3 in the flesh, and I would say the Sub c No Date is a beauty to behold! That would be my choice.

Is explorer 1 the only sports series that is below 5k for preown piece?

If you like simple watch and couldn't care about a black bezel, then the 214270 Exp 1 is a good choice. Brand new also $7.4k+.
                          Bros,

The new Sub-No Date 114060 is at what price, any idea?

The cheaper sports Rolexes would be Sub ND, Explorer I and the Milgauss.. Among these 3, sub ND would be the more popular choice - a reasonably new sub ND (2008 and later) would cost about 6k..
