Not quite sure what you mean by 5min late
If its 5min slower every month, you definitely need a servicing
By cosc requirements, your watch can be 4second slower per day , which makes it 120sec or 2minute slower per month

If your watch has not been serviced for a long time, regulation is unlikely to solve the accuracy problem and most watch makers would advise you to have the movement serviced.

If the watch has been recently serviced, then the inaccuracy might be caused by magnetization. In that case a demagnetization followed by regulation should fix it.

Best is to bring it to a reliable watch maker/technician who will give you expert advice upon inspection of the movement.
