Go for 16610LV, 16610LN, 14060M. There are still very limited stock left as these are all recently discontinued.
Now sports model comes with Ceremic bezel, so the old bezel will be something hot in the future.

I personally think that most of the sports series are best at resale. Provided they are all well kept.

To me, a collectible must be a little unique and not too commonly found....something a little special, limited run, unique face, colour, hands or general character.

The re-sale value of all Rolex models are generally good (case to case it also depends on whether the owner bougth brand new or pre-own)

                            Sports / Professional Series
The professional series are favourites with buyers of all ages so demand will always be there supporting the re-sale prices.
IMO the Sports models with the best re-sale value will be those with limited production runs, linked to certain historical events, or worn by famous personalities.
                            e.g Paul Newman Daytonas,
                            Red Subs
                            James Bond Subs,
                            very rare early Daytonas,
The very first Subs, GMTs , Explorers ...
                            All Anniversary models, e.g
Subs Mk1 sold over 1 year -Sept 03 to Sept 04
                            Commemorative models
all models with short production runs, unique, were popular and discontinued will command good re-sale value.

                            Dress Watches
Day Dates (pre-owned) as many of you already know is my love because imo they are the best "value for money Rolex" money can buy simply because

                            (1) The 18238/18239 Yellow or White Gold models double quickset movement similar to the current models but prices are 30% compared to the brand new prices.

                            (2) the melt value of the gold in some of the Day Date models is already worth close to 40% of the costs of the watch.

Compared to Stainless steel DJ or Sports model, you are paying 100% just for the Brand name and movement.

Model 1803-Currently I can't find any S'pore dealer with a 1803 that comes complete with a reasonable original condition president bracelet (end links marked 53 in either hidden clasp or even rarer 18K buckle) , imo these are getting really rare and worth buying to keep and the re-sale value imo will be good in the years to come because the good ones are disappearing into private collections and will not see the light of day.
Most dealers only have 1803 watch heads that manged to survive the passage of time without their other half...

Model 18038- look exactly the same as 18238 and cheaper by 1.5 to 2k, so re-sale value is very strong.

Model 18039- Try looking for a DD single quickset in white gold these days…
Day Dates in past 2 years is the only model where re-sale prices have risen across for all models partly assisted with soaring Gold prices.

DateJust-Like Day Date they are icons of Rolex.instantly recognized by anyone and needs no introduction.
However, be selective with the DJ models you intend to buy because there are many in the re-sale market, walk into any pre-own shop and half the shop is filled with DJs!

I like the DJ TT with Rose gold.
My 18K Gold Day Date "President" Collection:
                            1) WG DIA 18239

                              IMHO, for the modern models:

                              Sub C
                              DSSD
                              Daytona SS

GMT II is good too but Sub C is more liquid.
