quite surprised to learn that rolex SA does price increase at different rates for different countries.. is this considered a form of market differentiation?
Tough questions! It all depends. Sometimes once a year, sometimes twice a year. And the increase is also inconsistent. Sometimes, during each increase, the increase is not consistent throughout all models. Some models get increased while some no increase. In any case a rough increase of 5 to 10% if I'm not wrong.

You may know better than I but if not mistaken Rolex USA had a crazy 4x price adjustments in 2011. ?
( guess due to ****ty economy there?? )
That's ridiculous! I think the sales staffs had a hard time changing the price tags! We are at their mercy when it comes to price increments. They "suka suka" increase anytime they like. One of the reason is due to exchange rate. Sometimes when the exchange rate becomes unfavorable, they increase the price to match it. Sometimes they increase as their rivals also increase their price.
