My sentiments exactly. Was really disappointed when I saw the pelagos in the flesh. At that price, I'd rather get an oris. Far better value. Same movement too.

Titanium finish cannot compete with SS finish with the high gloss n shine. And becoz of that it might not appeal to everyone.

I couldn't help but compare the pelagos against my Oris pro diver chrono. Both are full titanium but the combo of mixed and polished surface of the Oris was more appealing to me. In fact, the Oris is nowhere as dull as the pelagos.

              • I find the titanium pelagos is a bit too light... but it's still appealing to me.. it has that x-factor I can't describe

                • Taste and preference are very individual. One man's petrus could be another's 2 buck chuck.

                    • The Pelagos is a watch with split personalities. On one hand, it's bloody muted, stealthy and low profile when worn in daylight. (Even though the thickness does somewhat stand out), on the other hand, the lume screams like a bit*h the min you transit from daylight to low light environment (like when driving into a basement car park)

I, for one wasn't blown away by the Pelagos when I first saw it in the flesh. But somehow, each time revisited it, the overall stealth look grew on me a little more.

Nonetheless, like what most bros here say, buy what you like.

                      • Anyone try if the leather strap bb is more heavy than the pelagos?
No chance to have a hands on the bb yet..
My feel for Pelagos is too light..

The BB does not have lume on the bezel, except on the small dot on the triangle. For your infor the lume on the BB is green not blue like the PELAGOS.
