Guide : Buying Rolex in Korea

Hi All,

Heading to Korea next week, heard Rolex price there is very competitive. Would really appreciate inputs on the followings:

- AD (read in some old posts can get in the airport), any other recommendation?

- Payment mode, how much different btw cash & card payment? Cash, by Won or US$?

- is there any GST or relevant tax, refundable?

Bro, careful ah... heard from friend that in korea and taiwan, the fakes (branded goods and watch) are damn good and daring.. as in opening selling as geninue in major shopping mall...

If you going to Korean and can't wait. Then buy now at their DFS. As for tax wise the Dfs Will guide you.

If you going later then don't buy first as price will drop further.

Can buy LV below 7k and GMT 2C below 8.3k and Deep Sea below 12k. If you are there now. Grab it!!!

yup agree must have the $$ 1st but what currency to bring is another issue. read in some posts tht rolex are priced in US$ in the airport, thts why need confirmation. Nt going to bring large sum of K won if there's no use for it (mind you, S$10k is KWon 9.1mil ). Bt if priced in K won thn no choice. also depends on whether cash saving is significant enough comparing to card payment.
