My $ is on the SD for an upgrade as it has always been in the shadow of the SS Subdate in terms of popularity. The SS Subdate is by far the best selling model in the Rolex sports line, so where the need to improve on the current appeal of the 2 models is concerned, the SD should be ahead of the SS Subdate. IMO, even if Rolex does announced an upgrade on the Sub line, it would likely be on the TT models first, just like the initial upgrades on TT GMT IIC before they finally rolled out the present SS GMT IIC later. I hope I'm right on the SD cos I own one
but even if I'm wrong, any upgrades to the SS Subdate would be good news to all Rolex lovers
