Thanks for the links to the article. The calibre 3135 has a higher level of finish that I initially thought. The polishing on the main rotor seems to suggest that there is little or no circular grinding on the plates. I thought the balance wheel being free sprung will not require the use of a breguet overcoil.

Think it is better to have a robust movement than something that is technically excellent but more fragile, like JLC movement. Also cost more to service a delicate movement.

With the increase in case size, I wonder if Rolex will push out a new line of movement to match the bigger case size.

How much does one of this fakes cost? They don't look like those normal fakes we see around, real solid imitation work.

                        Thanks for the info!

I think I will not get cheated buying a fake Rolex but looking at those pictures, I think no one will notice I am wearing a fake if I get one... ha ha....

                          I know right !!

I like his info at the start:

" The replica Sea-Dweller that I purchased is considered to be high end because of the following specifications: it has a solid stainless steel case, a sapphire crystal and uses a genuine Swiss ETA 2836-2 movement. As can be seen in the photo above, on first looks it resembles the genuine Sea-Dweller quite accurately. "

Wow, that is a very high end fake. If it is using real eta and sapphire glass, it is miles ahead of other fakes and probably not cheap. And it'll probably last as long as a real rolex! Scary!
