  • D, F Z series, What does it all mean?

Hi all, got a newbie question, was looking to get a seadweller, but was wondering what all the various series mean, is it standardised throughout the rolex range?
would be wonderful if someone could give a breakdown of the series (esp for seadweller)

    THANKS!

the series corresponds to the manufacture period. the series alphabet, is used across the entire rolex range.

rumors from my AD tells me that soon rolex is going to use random lettering so that it will become "impossible" for consumers to determine the age of the watch
