Rolex squeaky sound

Hi i just bought my rolex for a month.

I noticed the squeaky sound i think on the 2nd day after buying it. Sometimes when i shake my hand for the watch to slide to area nearer to my wrist, i will hear squeaky sound(not all the time though). Its like not enuf grease somewhere that kind of sound.

Is there anything wrong? Do u guys hear the sound too when u do that? (my watch is not tightly fitted to my wrist)

yeah. Low pitch Squeaky sound From the bracelet. Sounds Like old swings, not really like door hinges.

yes its from the bracelets usually.

from my experience, there are more from the hollow links bracelet.

mine went away after some "run in"

Yeah, confirm from the clasp. New watch, guess clasp not "run in" yet. no sound from my old watches though.

I am not sure if 'run in' will solve the problem because the noise may be stubborn for all you know. See if the RSC chaps can solve this first.

There is one more choice. Lubricate the joints with some oil.
I tried that myself, sound will go off immediately.

The cons is need to wash the bracelet clean frequently.
Or the dirt trapped will become grinding paste.

Which is more unbearable? Squeaky sound from flip lock on new watch or the very infamous Rolex clanking sound from earlier model of Daytona clasp?
