thks for the clarification I'm sure that a fellow forumer's personal experience with RSC is a much more reliable piece of info in local context than what I had deduced from the materials that I had read in some foreign website or forums...

So in other words, based on bro tomcatf's experience, it means that RSC will only replace crystals that originally comes with LEC with one that include the "S" within the LEC when they are changed. eg. tomcatf's W series GMT II does not originally have the LEC crystal, but if its a Y series and above model that originally comes with a LEC crystal, it will get a new LEC crystal that include the "S" within the LEC when it is changed. I hope I'm right in this deduction or maybe some bros can shed further light on this?

yes yes... it is just a simple thing to counter fake rolex... but does it mean that vintage rolex are more easily being counterfeit?

Wrong. As I say also...WHATEVER the fakes can do....they can never copy the quality and standard that Rolex has set...and nope it does not mean vintage rolex easier to fake.

given the proper resources, it is possible to copy a rolex. i mean look at the amount of CNC routers and if you know what you are doing, my guess is that you could easily make a copy 1:1 of the original and put it together, of course the price will reflect that too

in the past, no LEC, so easier to to make copies. then they introduced back in 2002, for awhile it help.

technlogy also caught up, now there are copies with LEC.

                      thanks guys for the patient
i have seen the LEC on my SD now

i go to a DARK area
now using a GREEN led light
shine towards the side of the 6 o'clock position in state of 12 o'clock
                      wah lah
when i tilt the crystal surface a bit
and holding the green led light steady

the LEC pop up beautifully in GREEN

LEC is just an added feature of proof. But it isn't fool proof...

Most important thing to me, is people that you interract with know you are wearing a rear Rolex. Howver, for the crook, you will always wish they think you are wearing a fake....
