What is the One most important feature to you when you buy your Rolex watch. New or preowned is ok? Share your experience.

Some is date
Some cert
Some bezel
Some gmt function
Some water resistance because of diving

For me... Is the chapter ring! Whether new or preowned, I just love the engraving. How about you guys?

As for new nothing to say, just buy whatever model you like but as for preown must come in full set (easy to sell if you wanna fling)

to me what makes a rolex stands out from the other brands

1. cyclops
2. oyster case
3. plus a list of others

the most important will the cyclops. it is signature.

other brands also have date, certification, bezel, GMT function, water resistance. therefore to me it is not the most important feature(s) of rolex.

as for chapter ring, what is the true intention of including on the watch, i dont know. some say it is a security feature, but non genuine ones also managed to have it. some say it is for easy authenticating between watch and warranty card/paper. so this is not feature for me to consider when buying a rolex regardless new or pre own

Only one thing most important....patina!

The most important thing for me is the Date.
I only buy new since well....I can afford it and would like to keep it for a long time.
