Green strip sticker on the oyster cover

Just wondering if the purpose of the sticker with the green strip (for brand new rolex) is the same as the green hologram on older models ?

Just wondering if i should tear it out like the rest of those small stickers or leave it there. It seems to be stuck there pretty tight.

The sticker with the green strip is for protection against scratches only. Tear it out, wear your watch and ENJOY!
