questions on submariner and explorer II

hi,

how much is the submariner with date and without date? do ADs give discount for these models? how much discount do they give?

which one is better? submariner or explorer II? what are the differences?

sub is a dive watch ....so 300m and has uni-directional turning bezel....triplock crown and dive extension

exp 2 has 24 hr hand to track 2 time zones, 100 m wr....fixed steel bezel......

i went to 2 ADs and asked about the price for submariner with date (16610). they quoted me $7931 fixed price (noticed that the serial no. starts with M). Does this mean that if i can find a Z series, they can give me discount?

As for Explorer II, they gave me 15% discount. If the piece is Z series, can I bargain for more discount?

M-series is the latest. if there is a Z-series, they MAY consider giving discount, however, it remains the sole discretion of the seller. rolex watches' prices are more towards supply and demand.

@ one stage, the explorer II was a hot item. then followed by GMT Master II, 16710. now is the sub-date. top of the list is the 116520

for the sub date M series, it is possible to get at least 5% off the list on the M-series
