Vintages I understand. But to have that in a first hand new watch I think is not acceptable for anyone

Hmmmm...i realize I also dun really look out for particles, more on the outlook and authenticity when dealing with pre-own. Perhaps spend more time in talking cock with seller than checking.... 8P

But I also sometimes try not to open up a BNIB watch to get some minor problems fixed.. Maybe I kenna too many such incidents whereby the watch is being butchered and not being repaired..

Sent my watch in yesterday to RSC. Apparently all Deepseas are injected with formalin which is prone to some dust particles being collected at the area near the crown. It is deemed normal and acceptable by RSC.

bring to a watch technician whom you trust to open your case back. the cost should be minimum.

Within the first week of use, I noticed a dust particle inside the breitling. Then yesterday, I noticed 2 specs of dust inside the deepsea. How common is this issue? I've never encountered this before but now, 2 watches in a row.
Shld be able to rectify by rsc within a short period of time.

A speck of dust on my dial.

                              Hi all,

After washing/cleaning my gmtiic today. Under my table lamp's light, I found a speck of dust on the dial.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't there before as I'm quite particular about it(fingerprint on the sapphire glass etc, I can't really stand it)
I suppose this is not normal and it shouldn't happen?

I was wondering how long it would take them to remove it if I bring it down to rsc.

                              Thanks in advanced!

I think I have shared that in the forum before some time ago. I saw a very fine and short curly hair inside the case of a brand new Submariner that my friend was about to buy. It was at one of the local ADs. After pointing it out to the salesman, no question was asked and it was replaced with another brand new pc on the spot.
