sorry, but these are currently (and will in all probability continue to be) overpriced, so i wouldn't spend my money on them.
there're better watches in their price range. but at their original RRP (+inflation, etc) or price notwithstanding, i would go for the panda.“Watches, no matter how much they cost, are better at telling time than making a person happy.†- Thomas J. Stanley

Over priced or not is relative to what you compare them with. If compared with original RRP, then I agree with you.
Afterall, most of the parts used except the movement are either shared with or of similiar quality as Rolex's.Watches are like potato chips - You never stop at one

i'm not saying you're wrong about valuation, but at current prices i wouldn't buy them.
the same amount of money can be spent on a 904L-cased dual time rolex watch with a microstella-equipped movement. or i would buy older rolex watches without bracelets within that price bracket.
less money can be spent on a 7750-equipped 300m diving chrono... but then, you can never use money to buy the past - hence the high price.
i still like the panda better.“Watches, no matter how much they cost, are better at telling time than making a person happy.†- Thomas J. Stanley

Bro, thks for sharing your nice collection!
I don't think it is poor man's rolex but a smart buy rather. Tudor chronos are indeed beautiful!
The vintage ones (Big Blocks) are going up in prices. Gone are the days (just 2 years ago) when they cost US$3000 plus. The pricing now is US$4000 onwards. There was focus on vintage Tudor Snowflake Subs and it very hard to find good quality ones nowadays. Collectors are now buying up the 80s/90s Tudor chronos. Not poor man's but value for money. Good size with date function. What's more, they come in Panda dials!
My friend in HK told me that Tudor Chronos are hot there. There is a big fan base. His: AP ROO, Hublot BB, PAM 24/29/183/372, Chopard L.U.C 2000/Mille Miglia, Rolex Milgauss 116400 GV/Sub 16610 LV/1680 "Red Sub"/GMT Master 1675/GMT Master II 16760 "FAT LADY"/Seadweller 16600/DSSD 116660, Tudor 94010 "Snowflake"/94200 "BIG Block"/Heritage Chrono/Black Bay, Omega Seamaster 2254.50/2538.20
Hers: AP ROO & AP Millenary, Cartier Santos, Chopard Happy Sports & Cannes Fest, PAM 49, Rolex Explorer1 214270
