Current discount for brand-new rolex

i was given 15% discount but managed to bargain abit more so in the end, slightly more than 18%. at watch palace. no difference between credit card or cash. oh, the model i bought is a 178274 wif jubilee bracelet for my wifey.

i also shopping for one for my wife.. went to Shop A, offered 12%... after talk a bit offered 15%....
Then to Shop B, straight away offer 15% but their list price is higher... after discount is like Shop A - 12%....

Sigh... this buying experience is really testing my shopping limits...

I thought it is still 15% discount at this point at Local AD no matter which one you go to? Eg. in Orchard or china town, etc...? Though there are talks of price increase.

Just got a V day present and we manage to get above 15%.

Tell me somemore that the bosses of the major ADs have came together to discuss and came to tis decision... What the! Sounds like bull* to me. Lol! I'm so pissed...

Seems rather true as what I was told and have posted here some time ago. The way to increase their prices is by reducing the discounts. At the end of the day, it will no longer matter which AD you patronise anymore because all 'should' sell at equal prices. And this is further going to extend to the regional countries, which means that a Submariner 'should' cost the same whether you buy it in Singapore, Malaysia or even Brunei. Let's see how this goes.

AD may not disclose discount, you may have to resort to visiting a handful of ADs individually.

Dear all Gurus,

Could any one advise which local AD offers good discount(at least 20%) for Rolex watches even with 0% credit card instalment?I am looking to get a brand new GMT Master II C 116710LN

Just trying my luck to get a good deal and also can use my credit card to earn points at the same time.To take hard cash, abit heart pain especially you do not know when you really need cash for needy,

It is near impossible to get such a deal. Firstly, the 20% discount for ROLEX is a 'thing' of the past and it was only available on the klassik models, not the sports models. Discount for the sports models hovered between zero to maybe 10% at most and if discount was given, it would likely be cash payment in full. At current and generally, the discount for its klassik models is around 15% and using CC flexi-payment maybe possible. It depends on the AD. But for your GMT II-C, you should not be able to get 20% discount and even if you do (quite close to a 'miracle' ), the seller will highly very, very likely want full cash payment.
