last year is possible to get 20% discount - a friend of mine bought 2 pcs to from HG at 20% (cash) I check with HG Millinia walk, 2011, max is 15% (if you know sales guy well) 20% is history liao

As i've not been into any ADs yet, how does one choose whether a 26mm or a 31mm ? based on hand size? and i suppose the bigger the watch , the more expensive it is?

From the official rolex website, i can see several series . eg, how does the steel version compare to the steel and white gold version??
And in terms of pricing , can someone advice me on the price range for the 26mm , steel and white gold version?

Lastly, is it cheaper to buy at the transit lounge in the airport cos no 7% GST plus possible discount? anyone can advise?

Hi jam. Welcome to the forum

The size of a watch is a personal choice so the buyer or the one wearing it must like the size. It doesn't really matter if it's 26mm/31mm. And no, the size doesn't determine the price. How does the steel version compare to the steel+WG version Don't really get you on this one but I guess the price matters? As for the price range of a lady's 26mm, I think it's better you visit the shops/ADs and find out for yourself. There are just too many variations.

For buying at the checkpoints, I have ill knowledge.

Just bought a lady DJ 179171 for my wife at a local AD and was told that 10% discount cap is applied across the board regardless of cash or credit and that there is no better offer elsewhere .... First time buyer so seeking advice whether this is a fact .... Anyway my wife adores the watch and it looks great on her ....

Thanks oceanklassik for the info, I have been surfing the official rolex website, and found this model to be quite attractive and I do believe my wife will like it, DJ 26mm steel and white gold, 179174. if anyone can tell me on the price range for this model , greatly appreciate the info .
