yesh they would replace the correct green insert for you for 75 bucks. But you have already spent $200 on the spare black insert ( $200 excluding installation charges by the watch shop )

Sorry the numerous posts confused me . So if I buy a Sub LV, walked into RSC to replace the bezel. What is the scenario?

          a. RSC sells me the black bezel over the counter and do
replacement for me, w/o taking back my original green?
          b. RSC sells me the black bezel over the counter and do
replacement for me, and collect back original green?
          c. RSC refuses to sell and do the replacement unless
there's prove of defects/damage on original green?
          d. RSC refuses and can only sell original green bezel since
          it is the Sub LV?

Scenario is yr sub LV already got the black bezel insert installed by yourself / watchshop...and in the event you have to send it to RSC for service etc.

this sounds like illegally modifying the car. i.e. when the car is due for inspection, you swop back the original parts

Changing Sub LV bezel insert to Black?

Does anyone know if RSC will change a Sub LV green bezel insert to a black one. Read that this can be done, but I called RSC, lady on the line say can't change LV green insert to black?

I believe you cant get the change done at RSC but you can do it at independent watch marker ... IMO

                          LV

That will be good, black bezel to go with maxi-dial .
But that means when servicing at RSC have to get green bezel switch back, unless service outside? Can pm me where to get it done, and est. cost. thx

hey for servicing, u can bring your sub to outside as i will be cheaper ...

there are a few places where u can try out :

                            - top hour
                            - koh watches

I believe there are more places ... Maybe some input from pals here will help you as I only frequent these 2 places only.

but after the change, nv bring your watch to RSC b4 changing back the original bevel, if not RSC will take the blk insert and make you pay for the green insert.
