Anyone got their new Rolex Explorer II Orange hand 42 mm?

No bro. The 1655 has no phantom hands. In fact, the white hands are unique to the watch and contrast the black dial.

i'm referring to the base of the hands... they are painted black on the 1655 and the black-dial 216570... unlike the white dial 216570, the hands on the black dial are not painted completely black...

AD's in Perth Australia are taking orders and will be delivered before christmas. The price is A$8900.

Rossendorf fed me some bull about it being in their stores in 2012 and that there is a 3yr waiting list. i was amazed at their sales pitch.

It was during the Baselworld exhibition at Rosendorffs when i was quoted that price and timeline. BTW they are having a 1/2 price sale but I think its for jewellery. Smales also mentioned something similiar.

It was advertised in the West Australian starting 1/9/11.
