Triton, to become a VIP, you just need to buy 3 to 4 watches within 2 years. The watches cannot be super expensive and can be super cheap. If you can buying from the same store , you will get it and will get discount for subsequent purchase. This priviledge will goes away if you do not continue the trend. I happen to buy the super cheap one. I do not see the need top quote unnecessary quote that doesnt link to the topics. Please do not quote me. thanks

Hourglass have. I believe most have. You can always ping me ,we can get some discount for cheap watches too but not always. It depend on the demand too.

Actually, my strategy is i go watch pool. I would gather all my colleague or friends who want to buy pool together buy under 1 name. Once they know you, will send you invitation to see see look look. no need to buy but the sale guy also important. He has a margin play. They sell cheaper watch too not just rolex. VIP is easy to get. Like going casino , go afew time and you will be upgradeable. But they are not stupid either, 2 yrs time you did not buy, you will back to the same. But not always they will give you, it depend on luck and demand too. The worse the economy the better the discount.

the visual effect is different. tell tale signs include leather strap for WG and bracelet for SS. other noticeable difference include the dial.

Beside, the visual effect for a SS and WG is almost the same. Save the money and get another SS. Thats my feel. if you are super loaded and treat 1000 like 10 cents, go for gold.
