    DIY : Polish Rolex Case

    My Rolex got a unsightly scratch. Doesn't help with Jewellery Polish. Doubt Cape Cod will help.

    Anyone here can refer a shop that can do some light buffing and polish for the bracelet? Thanks!

    is it deep?

      i bought a jewellery cloth to polish the gold part but kinda made it worse. Need some pro to do it I suppose.

                  DIY : Polish Rolex Case

                  Hi , after reading so much advice on removing scratches on our dear watches in this forum and over the internet how ppl are using bergeon 5444, the scratch brush bergeon 6240 and the cape cloth. I am wondering if it is possible to DIY urself at home instead of spending $100..

                  And i am thinking what tools the watch technician at RSC use to complete the task of polishing our watches. any gainful insight on that? whats the difference/?

                      many tools can be improvised to achieve same/similar effect.

                      just depends your comfort level.

                      for major dents, you may have to bring out the big boys (pneumatic microsander)
                      for minor scratches, you can go to a hardware store and check if they have very find grit sandpaper.
                      alternatively, you can always use a fine brass metal wire brush......

                      nb: i am not responsible for your actions. please take my advise with pinch of salt. your final results may very. if problems arise, visit your local RSC .
