Lets say no need to change parts, does it means RSC will service a vintage watch regardless of how old the watch is?

        Rolex Servicing Under Warranty

Anyone knows if you have a Rolex under warranty, does the local servicing centre charges for normal servicing? Like calibration, oil and polishing? Advice appreciated.

Polishing? No need to ask... those aunties will ask you to go home and "collect" more scars on your watches in the next 3-4 years and they will do the polishing for you when you service your watch there....

it is absolutely free for checking, calibrating etc, provided your watch is still under the warranty coverage. Oiling if they check and due so yes i think they will do it for free too.As for for polishing, you can refer to 116520 previous post.

I dont think it is that hard to put oil inside a watch, and since its open, a drop wont hurt either

Never encountered before. RSC will try to tell you this needs to be done that needs to be done cause they want to 'earn' more

according to 2 rolex forums, there has been a trend of late for overseas watchmakers to swop parts, either during servicing or before resale.

i have no experience with singapore watchmakers doing so, and i hope they don't do so.

if there have been original parts swopped out, naturally your servicing cost will go up to restore your watch back to its original state.
