  • How do you wash your Rolex?

    Hi all,

Just wondering how do you guys wash or clean your watches?
Discuss on tips and ways to protect them here.

for me, I have not unwrap the protection skin from the Rolex yet.
So pretty minimal cleaning for me. only wiping off the dirt i can spot from time to time.

Use soap and toothbrush, brush it like how you brush your teeth. That's just me.

seriously? wont toothpaste be too acidic/alkaline to be used?
and toothbrush would certainly blemish the shiny surfaces of bracelet.

I wash/clean them the same way I treat my seiko diver. Rinse them under running tap water if I perspire a lot while wearing them, or just clean with my damp towel after my shower.

I think if you search here, there should be extensive information on some cleaning (watches) tips. For me, I run them on tap water and wipe/dry them on cloths.

it goes for its shower like me. soap suds and a gentle rub. if it has gone to the beach, ill wash it immediately using the public showers.

I won't recommend using toothpaste....it's like sandpaper. Toothbrush only soft bristle ones!

Clear soap to shampoo it, and rinse.

I use hand soap to wash the watch, towel to tap dry the watch and watch cleaning cloth to remove any residue on the watch.
