The scratch looks like it is near the lugs, not the bezel.

If really cannot tahan, just use cap cod cloth and buff, problem solved.

Scratches cannot be avoided when wearing the watch...no matter how careful, no way to avoid.

At least the part where it is scratched is shiny and ss, can remedy it quite easily if wanted..I have a couple of scratches at the same spot as yours but on the opposite side on one of my watches but the surface is matt and 18k, harder to resolve without professional service.

Try not to feel too affected by the scratch, otherwise when the next few scratches occur, you'll be even more bothered...

One good way to avoid scratches.... wear a wristband or sweatband over your watch... nike, adidas, puma or reebok, is up to you....

The other method is not to wear your Rollie at all after polishing but then, it will become a white elephant.

Nah, its ok la...just some nagging hehe. No point in getting such a nice watch and just leave it in AD casing.

I remember a few years back when wearing my first Kirium Tag Heuer also...haha

Btw, from what i understand...polishing the whole thing also means the reducing the material, right ?

                            Hiya

The first scratch is as such, but remember - 'the pursuit and acquisition of an expensive timepiece is for your pleasure , so when it creates more pain than pleasure then its time to dump it'

We all go through the same stages, but as one of the bros here said, after the first scratch and the realisation that getting scratches is unavoidable you'll enjoy your watches more. Of course am not telling you to be reckless with them, just enjoy them and wear them .

Due to the recent launched of the 3G iphone, there are a lot of protective gears from the new gizmo. eg the bodyguardz where the phone is wrap with some special plastic sheet.

Probably they should come out some thing similar for the watches..at least to protect the face of the watch...u know like when we first got our rolex, the plastic wrap around the watch? at least we wont feel so heartache with our new toys.
