Unfortunately, preowned prices are pegged to the prices of new watches.

The increase may not be too significant in Singapore. To my knowledge, we are usually pegged to the price in Switzerland and since both the Sing and Swiss Franc are pretty stable, the prices are prob going to follow closely to the recommended retail price. As for the decreased discount, I guess it's a dealer's call. For those of us who may have the chance to go overseas, the best bet is claiming back the GST on our overseas AD rollies.

The US economy is doing badly, so the price increase is to ensure that worldwide, prices remain largely stable. a friend in Germany also commented recently that there is a price increase to mirror the falling euro.

Hope to have more information here.

Will this reflect in the new models coming, eg the new EX2, to have a higher premium than normal since the discount for the current models reduced?

wont be surprising if the exp2 sells at a premium.
