Hi guys,

Need some advice here...

I wondering if I should sell off my collection of omegas to get a rolex instead. Currently only own a pathetic 6694...

Thinking of selling them off to fund a GMT 1675 or 16710. Is that advisable?

My collections are:

1) Omega Seamaster 40th Anniversary James Bond limited series (With Box and Card)
2) Omega Seamaster GMT 50th Anniversary Edition (With Box and paper)
3) Omega Seamaster 200M 18k Pre Bond Quartz (No Box and paper)

If selling, wonder how much can they fetch? Can anyone advise?

im not sure if selling all the 3 omegas will get you enough funds to get the rolex of your choice.

if you sell the omegas, it is because you have no feelings for them. another reason is that you like to change the direction of your watch collection.

you need to ask yourself why you want to sell them. when you get the answer, the choice is clear.

Check what is Omegas' market, Sell away quartz watches, keep only automatic version, then save enough to buy the Rolex of your choice.

I'm actually quite a greedy person lah... haha. I love the omegas that's why I never worn them since I got them. Not getting any wrist time at all!! So kinda wasted...

Even if I get the rolex of my dream also can't bear to wear them... sigh... kinda ridiculous huh?

So still wondering what should I do... kinda lost in my direction...

I used to be crazy abt cars. Used to spend thousands and thousands in it. Recently sold off liao and felt kinda lost...So now get into a new hobby. Thinking watches might be a form of savings or even investment somehow... At least better then investing in cars right??

Aiyah, buy the watch for wearing leh. If you are not going to wear it then you might as well stick with the Omegas you currently have. Just MHO.
