Better not... nothing in this world is guarantee... Better buy from AD (local or overseas) or face to face, unless you want to take a risk.

There is inherent risk, regardless of how trustworthy. Plus the trouble of insurance and freight. Customs and GST payment etc.

If the watch is just 10% cheaper, save the trouble and look local. Daytona are not hard to find locally plus oversea cannot be very much cheaper for this model. If more than 20% cheaper than here, I also run away.

Just bought a 16233 delivering today. The site is audited by 2 independent businesses associations like our Case, netrust, redas. Did make a call to the compnay to 'sort' of check it out before buying.

Just got it. The watch is very clean and come with authentication paper. I check with some local watch expert and the watch is real. However, I told them I wanted a fully original watch, they give me one with custom band and custom dial. They insist they told me so, and I told them no as per the email chain I have with them (luckily I kept). In any case, they are willing to exchange one for me. In the end, it end-up same cost as I can get locally :-(. And with the risk involve and hassle, I do not think is worth my time and money.

I have to change a watch I don't like :-(. Getting a refund will incur a 20% penalty, ouch!

you're better off asking the popular sellers from VRM or TRF if they can get you what you want... i've purchased rolex watches from overseas, sometimes without seeing even a picture, and i've had minimal problems. however i only deal with people/dealers that i trust.

this is not something i would recommend anybody do without due diligence, but sometimes certain pieces can only be found overseas... i'm not familiar with the model you're looking for, but i'm sure you can find it in HK and it's only a cheap plane ride away.

Why buy overseas when you can get from local buyers right here

...because if you know what you're buying and trust who you're buying from, some deals are better overseas than in singapore.

nevertheless... CAVEAT EMPTOR!
