year 1995 rolex sub half gold black dial, is the dial a T25???

cuz i believe the newer ones are no more T dial~

Think it's the dial made of tritium, a type of substance that glows. Watches those days used tritium, so there's "T25". Nowadays, watch manufacturers have switched. Think there was a discussion on this in the forum. Very informative. Go search and read it.

Tritium also used for weapon aiming tip, so that the tip will glow at night for night shooting. But it is not lasting.

tritium dial does not glow long and thus after time,it gets the patina look...
so the newer luminova dial...possible to get patina look?
