Which apple will you choose?

I need to choose one out of Apple A and Apple B.
Looking for- daily wear and best possible resale value

Apple A

- LNIB
- 6mths old
- local AD
- full set with named warranty
- price is same as Apple B

Apple B
- 1.5 yrs old
- BNIB
- Oversea AD
- full set with unnamed warranty
-price same as Apple A

Appreciate any advise

Noob Question- so the name on the warranty card need not be the same person who sends in the watch for service ya ?

no need to be same person.

if looking to resell in sg, it seems only s'porean's want to buy local set. the moment they hear overseas AD, they expect a bigger discount.

otherwise both watches are pretty much same.

my choice: id swing the B watch. might as well get BNIB opposed to LNIB.

though it is 1.5 years old. it can be taken as NOS.

to me a unnamed warranty is easier if want to sell to someone who is more particular about having the possibility putting down on name.

age is no issue. a BNIB set is always preferred to LNIB for me.

besides warranty is only on manufacturing defect. if apple has reliable watch movement, warranty makes no difference. there are only couple of brands i know that has issues with watch movement despite being bought new from AD.

it make lots of sense .. so as a 1st time buyer is there any tips I can take away on checking if a watch is indeed 'BNIB' ?

I actually don like to eat apple. but if really have to choose, I would choose Apple B. Like what Triton mentioned, you will find that Rolex with unnamed warranty is easier to sell in future if you really want to.

For LNIB, be it 1 month or 6 mths, its hard to say what had been done to the watch or had happened to it. Its gg to be a matter of trust should u choose to buy it

I will take apple B too. No sign of wear can include all the sticker being intact, links has nv been adjusted before and the watch has no sign of wear.

also can't answer your questions as it is not apple A & B. though it is same model, it is different dial and accessories option. also lack of other information which is hard to comment.

think if you give alittle more info, like if there are box, papers, age of watch or conditions, it would be better for the rest to give some opinions.

Hi MsLucifer, I went ahead to buy the datejust 79174 pink mop dial. It is F series, comes with box, paper and bought it mainly because it is a gift for spouse & she likes pink. Hopefully, it was a reasonable price?

The 1st option of 79174 with diamond markers is K series (with box & paper) so I thought a bit too ex for $6000.
