Send to RSC for verification. Without papers, the cost will always be lower. But if you intend to buy it for use, as long as the price is reasonable and verified it's geninue.

You also have tools to mess about with. Do you know how to open the case back? Do you have a dustproof room to do this? etc.

For peace of mind; just pay the $100-odd and get it out of your mind.

No point trying to save here and there; only to have it bug you at night.

Even if you have the tools to open it, I don't really think any seller would allow you to open up the casing unless they could prove they are some certified watch technician. I personally would never let that happen to my watches.

If you are going to spend few thousands for a pre-owned watch,
might as well pay another $107 to ease your worries...

Send to src for verification is the or one of the best option. Having said that, it's not safe even if the preowned watch comes with paper......

If you find that $107 is too expensive, then bring it to those watch shop outside like Top Hour. They charge less then half the price at RSC.

Borrow thread for a little discussion,

What is the standard paper we should accept? Is it a certificate plus a warranty card or just a warranty card will suffice?

                    Thanks.
