  • Appreciate if anyone can provide the latest price include VAT for the following watch model in Paris. Thanks in advance.

    Explorer II (42mm)
    SS GMT2 C
    TT GMT2 C
    SS Submarina C
    TT Submarina C

    • Definitely Italy. The Rolex boutique will offer the best availability and dial options. There is an AD named Pisa Orolegeria which from memory has brances in Milano and Roma.

      • I'm not too sure if France has had a price rise but the price list for those models as of early 2012 are
        6285 Eu for the Explorer 2 42 mm;
        6200Eu SS GMT 2 C;
        9250 Eu for TT GMT 2 C;
        6285 Eu for SS Submariner C;
        9585 Eu for TT Submariner C.

        Might be worthwhile to e-mail Jean Mick; Wempe or Dubail for the current price list.

        • There's a price increase in June this year if I'm not wrong so these prices are not accurate...

          • Yes that is true for quite a few European countries but price rises in France and some of the Western European countries - i.e Italy, Spain have not been implemented yet as far as I know.

                • Italian dealers are more flexible with their discounts and the cost of doing business in major Italian cities- Roma, Milano, Venezia aren't that high compared to France. Italy has also been one of the hardest hit economies in the EU hence all AD's are willing to discount. As an observation of my many trips to Europa, France is ok but currently not that flexible with negotiations. It also depends on the model that you're after.

                    Generally how much discount do the italy folks give for sport model SS. That is ontop of the VAT you can get back right.

                    • Last May 2011 I was in Milano and the AD's there were willing to discount about 10% off for the popular SS models - Submariner and GMT 2 C.There are quite a few AD's in the city centre so its kind of competitive On top of that there is the net Vat refund of around 14%.

                        • same experience here.

                          was enquiring about the Sub LV. so far London AD replied 6050 pound with stock. but no reply from ADs in Paris.

                          i think comparing to local, the price for London AD still cheaper if you factor in the VAT rebate.
                          I don't need another watch.
