  • Rolex Bezel Protectors

    Hi guys,

    1) Where can i get my hands on a Rolex 11610 submariner bezel protector?
    2) Is it worth getting? From experience, is it a hassle to put on and take off?

    TIA!!

You may approach the ROLEX Service Centre (Rsc) to ask for it. I am not sure, though, if it is free or at a cost. Alternatively, if your watch was purchased from an AD, go back to the same AD and asked for one. That, I know, is free.

Pls don't say that. I happen to be around and saw your post. Have the little experience so can share.

          Cheers

                Thanks again Ocean!

@feilong108 - I am just lacking a bezel protector to complete my entire box so i wouldn't mind picking one up if its cheap.
Am just wondering if most just don't bother putting the protector on even when they do not wear the watch? Is it cos it's sheer laziness/cant be bothered or because putting on and removing may scratch the bezel?

I never use the plastic cap. not sure still around keke.

it is really not necessary to put it on even if carrying in a pouch.

but I will get it to complete the set if i lack it and price is right.
pls share with us the cost if you get it from RSC. thanks.

The plastic protectors are just meant to protect the watch in transit from factory to the various ADs worldwide and many ADs just throw them away after sale. After that well they are just bits of plastic and of no real use if you wear the watch and add no value to the most important bit the watch. But many do find there way to places like Ebay where IMHO some pay very silly money for a bit of plastic packaging and of no real use its just plastic packaging tat.And how can plastic scratch S.steel or the insert I can assure you Steel is a lot harder that plastic.Rolex watches don't need any pampering they are made from one of the toughest materials on this planet S.steel.

My AD has boxes of these bezel protectors thats she'd throw away them in batches from time to time. No, don't pay (too much) for one.
And haha for god's sake, don't leave it on when wearing the watch.

Of course i wouldn't commit the ultimate sin of wearing a watch with the plastic bezel protector still on!
But it's nice to have it nonetheless. Allxxlla are you Singaporean? Wish your AD would throw some my way... haha

I think is quite difficult, as 16710 has already been diacontinue for quite some time. U shd approach the preowned shop, shd have higher chance.
