i think money cant buy satisfaction. if buying for investment purposes, then do not get a watch, it always and almost sure lose money lor haha unless u very lucky. bro or sis miumiu, sorry as i dono u r guy or gal, go for the 1 u like. i don think u will wanna wear a watch u know will depreciate the least or appreciate the most but the watch that u feel good wearing it hope i am correct.

in my point of view is, submariner no date will not lose much money.
it depends on how much you buy it.
i prefer de 14060 because of t<25 dial.

my 14060m F series bought brand new in year oct 2004 for $4800 and sold it in Jan 2006 for $3600.. So I effectively loses 1/4 of the purchase price.. $3600 is the best price I could sell it for back in 2006.. people are looking at the 16610..

I was buying an explorer 2 back in 2006 so had to sell this for fundings.. watch buying is like buying shares..

I bought the 16570 eventually and sold it off in 1 months time after it was butchered by RSC.. I topped up money and purchased the GMT 2..

Looking back, I was glad in selling off the explorer 2 and got the GMT 2 back then.. Just compare the resale price of a 16570 vs 16710 these days and the 16710 is still keeping it's value well..

This one really have to see ur luck liao.. I do not know the resale price of an explorer 2 is so jia lak now when I purchased it 5 years ago.. I sold it off one month later it because it was slaughtered by RSC.. so everything depends on luck one..

But resale value doesn't matter to me because I am not going to sell this watch anytime soon.. Just like HDB flats, the increased in pricing is just adding paper value to singaporeans.. nobody is gonna make money from it because you need somewhere to stay after selling.. unless u got somewhere else to run to..

I hope that my A. Loong & Son watch will retains it's value well.. hehe

My friend big date langematik is 2.7k for overhaul.

Why those watch service by Ang-Mo must pay a higher price for service?

What I know a Lange and rolex is running on the same theory.

Main spring,2nd wheel,3rd wheel,4th wheel,escape wheel,
pallet fork and balance wheel........(my view)

really wish to know something from all watch collectors out there. Do you all buy watch when you got really that spare and extra Vitamin M or you all buy when u all have saved enough and after buying, got no extra spare cash left already.... really curious about the mentality from you guys and gals out there collecting watch.

Hi Bro miumiu or Sis miumiu,

We cannot know infuture which one got higher value.

If you concern about resales value,than i suggest put up 2 set of saving,
1 set when you need it,and another set you go and buy Rolex.

Remember to stay on to Rolex,cause i left Rolex and coming back paying a heavy price.

Anyway,if you got Watch posion,even you set aside 10 set of money,you will end up with 10 watches!!!!!!!!

So remember once a while eat some antidote.......................................to prevent the posion got worst.
