I'm pantang too but this is the first time I heard someone more pantang than me. Anyway, I will not care about the chinese date if I am buying a watch. In my opinion, you do not have to pick a date to get a Rolex but you have to make sure that you have enough S11.

I am one of those very "pantang" type of person, as I am a big gambler (CASINO, FOOTBALL, MJ all also bet)

I want to ask the advise of you gurus here whether there is any implications of getting an expensive watch during the ghost month, as I know, many dont buy houses during ghost month. Is it at all related???

I ask this because I know for a fact that when I wear my TAG HUER LINK (tiger woods one) bought in ghost month 2005 and gamble , I am damn bloody sway...Also how much can I expect to get in resale for this TAG? bought 3.2k 3 yrs old.

Wear a blood red underwear with red pant and shirt if you so decided to buy a watch.
