    Erm ... yes? It's automatic movement, right? So once the reserve power is up, it stops. Is that a trick qns?

      im new n i thot it runs on batt power. so shud b running n tickin all e time right? if nt batt low.
      if not, hw can keep time precise & right all the time n thru e years?

            Mechanical watch dun run on battery so it will stop if you don't wear them for a couple of days (depending the power reserve duration)...

              Heh! You guys are not answering TS ..

              What is your watch model by the way? If your watch is an auto movement watch, then once you leave it resting for some time, the watch will stop moving. To use it again, just adjust the time accordingly, wind it up to about 15-20 rounds, and you are good to go again.

                ha ha... I think the TS is asking why we are paying so much $$$ for a watch which doesn't "run" once it is off from our wrist... he mentioned "keep time precise & right ALL THE TIME..."

                    use a watch winder to keep time precise and right all the time. send it in for regular servicing every 5 years?

                      Cos my G-shock can keep time precise & right all the time, I only wear it for my reservist, normal days I throw it in my drawer, in-camp come, pick it up and it is still keeping time precise & right.... =D

                        oh ya, isnt tat the beauty of a fine-engineered, good craftsman-ship watch? to keep time precise & right.
                        if nt 116520 > u r right. g-shock if batt stil ok, runs forever too! n it doesnt cost XXXX.XX

                        btw, mine is a DJ. can't wear it everyday lah. most of the time oso in the drawer kind.
                        so was surprised tat every time i wen i took it out to wear, it oways is late.
