It it wise to swap? is it a good deal? after discount for both watchs is about the same but for future will the sports model be easier to let go?

Don't get what you really mean You are using your 116234 (M) to exchange for an Explorer II (V) and at the same price? I will say, "JUST DO IT" !

If you are seeking an opinion to change your decision to buy an Explorer II (V) instead of the 116234 (M) and at the same price, I will still say, "JUST DO IT" !!

And yes, most ROLEX sports models are in better demand and because of this, easier to sell/resell.

Would like to share my view with a story.

In the 80"s,people will said that i will be stupid to spent 5k for a manual wind daytona cause the Rolex boy is so nice and it much cheaper and some more got gold,cause in the 80's Rolex boy is very hot.

And ever talk to a salesman that in Rolex trade(Brand New) for many years said:His boss is having a very hard time to get rid of those Daytona in the 80's.

i like sports model more....i got classic model coz ever green but dont look nice on me...
