  • How do u know it's COSC?

    btw what is COSC?

VEry Rolex comes with COSC...? and what is the significant of the red tag that comes with the box?
There is a very fine line between this "hobby" and "mental illness."

Everything can be found on google lah....hahaha but here's the link!

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/COSC

COSC certified is when you see

Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified on your Rolex watch.

Most Rolex watches are COSC certified...it's just a test la. They test your watch for 15 days and night before they ship out and stuff.

if no confidence can easily give it a miss, but history has shine thru and you see rollies subjected to all kind of abuse, somemore they still work.

That's why I collect only Rolex... Current models are all COSC.

Rolex's watches are proven for it reliability, I wear them for any kind of activities...

I used to own a Tag in early 90's, one day that joker just broke under pressure... feel cheated even till today with their slogan:"It Don't break under pressure".

if i read correctly, only the movt is sent for testing... not the whole assembled piece rite?...

btw, is each and every one watch movt tested? or only a sample few from each batch?

i think it is a batch, would be very hard to test every piece.

Hahaha whats wrong? Only certain brands do COSC certification...Rolex has the most of course...the rest are just selected models.

certified or not doesnt matter, as long as it can run within specs it is ok.

Was @ RSC last week. The counter aunties told me COSCO standard is -4 and +6 devviation per day.

BTW if your watches still under warranty can ask them to tune 4 you. They will tune +3 seconds is the nominal and if no queue takes < 15 mins job

                              Best bring your guarntee card.
