Ha ha ha... that's why I FLY taxi to get it... saw it before remember the condition is good. It is quite hard to find a 16700 these days. Before buying saw one at PK (LP) asking for S$8k+, too bad those chicks didn't work on me... ha ha ha... Thanks for your advices, BROs!

I can imagine how excited u are!!! Perhaps sometimes if we think too much, the good stuff will just fly by. Hows the watch keeping time so far? How about some more pics of this beautiful time piece?

Yes, the GMTI is 'A' series which I think it is produced around 2000-2001 and the GMTII is 'P' series which I believe is produced around 2001-2002.

For local use a 16700 would be more practical with the quick set date. Congrats!

Although the bezel can be replaced , but does the one with the original black bezel 16700 hold more value?

The reason why I said 16700 only comes in pepsi bezel is because I read this from the famous website "The GMT in Transition"

Here is the following quote from the site:

"Also, it appears that the 16700 was only offered with the Pepsi bezel insert to distinguish it from the GMT-II..."

to read more about GMT please click the link below

guess those were the older pieces of 16700... mine was A series . I notice the one in the forum was much older.

Any expert care to share ?
