I think the direct sales are the auction items but not brand new Rolex watches. Honestly, getting a Rolex thru' auction is a waste of time...this is just my view.
In my view , It is a real big waste of time going to these auctions, been played out twice, conducted by 2 different auctions, not this one you mentioned :-
auction 1) the newspaper advert will put various types of nice rolex models Subs,GMTs, Day Date with diamonds etc on weekends so I thought lets go.
I got there nothing! only ladies jewelry!
I asked the counter girls where are the rollies and they say management decided not to auction them!? what the F....!
auction 2)
2nd time I got smarter, I asked them to email me the auction catalog 2 days before the auction and I counted at least a dozen rollies there.
when I attended the auction again nothing what the F...!
I got home wasted time, fed up called, left messages, emailed complaint but none of the staff dare or even have the courtesy to return my call!?
my conclusion:
1)the advert with all the rollies is just to attract you to attend ?
2)dealers bought up all the rollies on a private purchase ?
can someone who has attended share their experience?
