Condition of 2nd hand rolexes quite jia lak..

I was searching around for a explorer 1 14270 or 114270 last weekend around some preowned shops..Had a look at a couple of them and all seems to be in quite bad conditions..Either they have dings around the casing or the minute hand being scratched..Or they look new but casing seems like being overpolished liao..One of them had the rolex crown on the bracelet crasp being polished flat..I think they must have been through many hands liao..

I gave up on the search liao since.. Those ppl who had bought my 14060m back in 2006 must be consider very lucky.. Watch casing 99% mint without going for any polishing work before and all the corners and edges are still as sharp as those that came out fresh from the factory..

Bro..I still leemember my first attempt around march this year at PP park Koh watches..He brought out 5-6 units of 114270 etc, all of them have so much nicks around the casing that I gave up..

But I suspect those at preowned shops are not kept by WIS..Like people winning money buy and sell them a few month later after losing money in casinos etc..

Those at JW etc are of better conditions because they are sold off by collectors..
