Hi,
I tried calling Lee Chay the other day to ask about a rolex... no one picked up the phone. Someone told me their shop in Peninsula is not there anymore ..
anyone know if this is correct or what has happened to them?

I was at Peninsula few weeks ago and I saw Leechay there....not sure if there are any changes

Lee Chay used to give reasonable discount if pay cash for certain Rolex models, but last time I got no discount for my submariner from them.....TL

Subs (esp new ones) are popular. I would be surprised if you can get discounts for them at all!

they sometimes had new old-stock pieces which were interesting ...

I was there few days ago, apparently they undergone renovation and have become even SNOBBIER.

Past by today and it's opend. The shop is relatively very swee and classy. However, all aunties there hitting houseflies (waiting for customers...)

If not for the substantial discount they were able to offer, i wouldnt have step into their shop (pre-reno days). I went in the other day because few weeks back they still had a new-old stock GMT II with red hands, black bezel , i went in again to enquire, they said I saw wrong and must have seen it at a 2nd hand shop and refuse to entertain me anymore. Good luck to them man.
