  • Changing Dial

Does Rolex Centre offer changing of dial. I would like to change my lady datejust non-diamond marker dial to one with diamond markers. How much roughly?

Do they do that? I don't think so....

There is a very fine line between this "hobby" and "mental illness."

Yes. It's possible to do that if your model has diamond dial available. Like the ladies datejust then no problems....

            Cost is roughly 1-2k...

If you change at the preown shop it's ok PROVIDED it's not a aftermarket piece.

Thanks for the information. Btw, I learnt from the forum that RSC will take back the old dial and will not return to you, is it true? I am thinking whether to get a new tt lady datejust with diamond markers or just get my old dial changed with one that has diamond markers. Since costs will be below $3K, I'll probably get a new dial.

Yes this will prevent you from trading the original dial in the open market. A new TT DJ with diamond dial costs about 9k after discount...I rather you get the new 1 though.

Oh 2760...tks for informing! Haha...well it's expected la. I am not surprised at all...RSC prices are chop carrot head 1 mah...

2.8k can get you another SS or TT ladies datejust though...

                    a point to note.

if i remember correctly, the ladies DJ basically comes with white gold bezel and yellow gold bezel. certain dials are meant for white gold bezel and though they fit the yellow gold bezel.

so if you fit a dial meant for yellow gold bezel on a white gold bezel, and if you bring in to RSC to service the watch, the technician will reject the watch even though the bezel is original.

if you like to change dial, perhaps, you should visit RSC and get clarification.

Yesterday was at SRC, saw a guy sending his Rolex for service, somehow he was deciding to change the dial for his celini dress watch. Over heard his conversation with Rolex stuff, the service will be 3.2k inclusive of dial change...

So, my opine is to holdfast and don't be a 'vain-pot'... everything is $$$ . However, is really up to individual.

                              SS Daytona Black Dial,
SS GMT II coke, SS GMT IIC, TT GMT IIC,

                              SS SD,
                              SS YM,
