    Hi all, just got my first rolex from Kami Kichi in tokyo, shld i make a trip down to rolex centre to have it authenticated when i get back to singapore?

    Typically getting from a shop is safe most of the time. Well....I won't but if it makes you feel better then go ahead

      I newbie not too sure mah.. anyway, what shld come standard with a brand new rolex other than the box? The warranty is the plastic Card rite?

        You can feel safe about authenticity buying things from japan. It's a Land of no fakes.

            errr... you buy in japan and authenticate in singapore? what happens if you find it fake then??

                  Head down the lorongs at night, and there alot of fakes there. Like I said, depends on how deep you want to find.

                        put bluntly, not everyone in japan can afford the real mccoy. also, dont forget, "brando" is the japanese national obsession. counterfeit thrives on this mindset.

                        they not only sell, but some even manufacture to high standards.

                            do note that part b of model b can be found in model a which is not suppose to be. they still consider it as original rolex.
