I want to know and change it also, solid end piece make the watch look nicer.

Alignment of pin holes for Older Rolex may not fit the new braclet aka the pin holes of solid end piece.

Solid end does make the piece look nicer but no it usually won't fit with the older 1s. That's how they make money also la..if can fit then the new 1 won't be appealing enough

In that case, more practical to sell the old and buy the new.

just poking abit of fun around, but yes, it would most likely be more viable to get a new expII

May be I should do some trial, by switching the bracelets between my sub and gmt 2, or take out the SEL from the sub to fit it on gmt2 links.

Will try this weekend if time permit, because I need to buy Bergeon No. 6825 bracelet Removal Tool... will let you guys know whether is it fesible for old links to fit with SEL...

I think the SEL can fit as one of my colleague has exp2 with pinhole type and hers is SEL bracelet.

agree with above post, of course that is my opinion, at the end of the day the watch is yours, and you have final say
