Of course, there are exceptions like the lucky dude who paid US$6100 for a BNIB 116710LN GMT IIc at Heathrow airport London (tax free). Really cant see how u can lose money on this one though.
Not to mention the lucky minority who got hold of a M series 16710 before the price rise!!!
But well it's rare la...that's why I didnt bring it up to him....coz if I knew where to get...i will also get liaos!

Wow... interesting... i think my priority is to get a display box.../watch case..
Just wondering which display case to get? any advise on the better watch case..material of the box.. and etc..Any good deal from local shop or online shop?
The best display case... I think should be your hand... am & pm different watch, 3 days wear 6 different watches, no need winders unless you have more than 6....

was recommended IWC, Sinn, Maurice Lacroix, Glashutte by my SA ..
but i prefer AP, Daniel Roth, which at this present moment is way off my budget and affordability. sigh.
If you are talking about resale value then I would suggest stick to Rolex. But if u like other functions designs and stuff...but dun mind the resale part...then by all means go ahead with what the SA recommended
