Visiting Singapore, AD recommendations?

Hello,

I'll be stopping over in Singapore for 2 days/3 nights, very soon.

Looking to buy a brand new SS Sub Date and would really appreciate some AD recommendations esp in terms of good service and price (stores or even specific sales people).

Also is there much chance of a discount these days? And is the GST included in the rrp of S$8228 or is it added on?

So far having read some posts here - Kee Hing Hung and the Watch Palace seem to be places with good service.

But with limited time and so many AD's on Orchard Rd (and other places), any advice/suggestions would help greatly.

penisula plaza also another place, got preowned and AD as well. another one is chinatown, more preowned there with the exception of KHH

From my personal experience, Kee Hing Hung provides decent service and prices. Their range of models available is also good. But they are in People's Park area. If you want to limit your time to the Orchard area, Watch Palace should be a good place to go judging by feedback by fellow forummers. And if I'm not wrong, WP = KHH...

Price wise, I believe it will include GST which you can then claim on your way out. Another 7% discount!

yup...about 5% effective only.

Since you are looking @ a SS Sub Date, you may want to pm some of the watch sellers in garage sales section who have BNIB pieces and selling for less than 8228.

Only difference is that you will probably meet them @ RSC which is located next to Lucky Plaza and pay 75 for verfication purposes. So if the overall price is less than [(8228-5%)-{~6%}], maybe you like to consider.
