No. This has been discussed before. For example, you buy a Submariner LV (green bezel) and want to replace the bezel to a black one (normal black dial Submariner). Even though the black bezel is original Submariner, it is deemed "non-original" by RSC standards, because the Submariner LV is "green-bezeled", no matter what. Unless you change back the original green bezel on the Submariner LV, RSC will not touch your watch.

      IMO, very strict .

in this case very clear because Sub LV has to be green bezel. but what i m referring to is different physical attributes of the same model with different series.

          It's not a problem..RSC will accept it.

a friend of mine sent his green sub into RSC... it was accepted although he had a black insert instead of the green.

at collection, he was charged for a replacement green bezel insert, and the black bezel was not returned.

hope all the sifu here to enlighten me why the Daytona was so "hot" always sell at premium? is it because of the movement? my fren told me celebrities influence also one of the reason, is it true?

That's part of the reason. Movement wise now it's inhouse, last time the Zenith ones are worth more now I would say the design and branding does play apart...supply too...supply is always low thus driving up prices

                                Noob Qn

                                Dear all,

This has prob been asked before but i can't find the answer despite searching and reading through several threads. If a shop says the watch they are selling is brand new but is covered by their shop warranty, does it mean the Rolex warranty is void? Meaning RSC will not honor the warranty although i have the rolex warranty papers etc?
Considering to buy this GMT 2c from a shop but this is holding me back. Any helpful comments pls?
