If you buy from ADs here, will cost you from $19k to $20k and you can get the GST refund from the airport.
If you buy from watch dealers here will cost you from $17k to $18k but no GST refund

Hi, first of all, welcome to Singapore! You should have no shortage of watch dealers to visit while here... Prices, on the other hand, will depend a lot on what you are looking for.

Which brings me to the point about Daytonas... I think at current exchange rate, 400,000 baht for a new SS Daytona black dial is better than what you can get locally. If I am not wrong, new SS Daytonas here range from S$17k to about S$19.5k... And ADs here may not even sell you as they are probably "reserved" for their VIP customers.

Having said that, since you are coming to Singapore anyway, it might be worthwhile to visit Watch Palace at Lucky Plaza (along the famous Orchard Road shopping belt). One of our fellow forummer bought his white dial SS Daytona there for S$17k - which is a very good price locally.

Good luck in your hunt and enjoy your stay here!
Time is too precious to be measured by a cheap watch...
